US-based global talent management company Global Crosswalk Inc today announced the launch of its India operations.
The company helps businesses effectively manage and develop a global workforce, and assist leaders develop capabilities to thrive and succeed in a multicultural workplace.
"We are looking at half-a-dozen revenue-generating engagements in India in the first year of operations," its Co-Founder and Advisor Naren Balasubramaniam told a press conference here.
The company said in a global business environment, culture has emerged as one of the most dominant barriers to effective integration, and GCI provides solutions in the areas of cross cultural strategies, culture competence development and expatriate services.
GCI plans to build business development and service delivery capabilities in Pune and Chennai as well by next year and two other cities a year later, Co-Founder and CEO Radha N Nath said.
The company said its services are built on a synthesis of bodies of knowledge that include social anthropology, behavioral sciences, organisational development, and instructional design.
