General Motors India today posted 10.65% decline in its sales at 7,364 units in June.
The company had sold 8,242 units in the same month of 2011, General Motors India said in a statement.
"Overall market continues to remain sluggish. With market sentiments continuing to remain depressed, we are not expecting the market to show any remarkable improvement before the festival season," GM India Vice-President P Balendran said.
Besides, orders of Tavera are pending due to supply constraints on account of workers strike at vendor's end, he added.
The company sold 614 units of small car Spark, 5,236 units of hatchback Beat, 181 units of entry-level sedan Aveo and 557 units of luxury sedan Cruze last month.
It also sold 741 units of multi-purpose vehicle Tavera during the month.
