Godrej & Boyce is aiming a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore from the security solutions business by 2013, half of which would come from integrated security solutions, a senior company official said here today.

The $2.1 billion company is also looking at marketing its storage security products to developed nations like US and Europe and for which certifications have been procured, the company said.

"Currently, the turnover from the security division is Rs 300 crore. We are targeting Rs 400 crore this year. The export target for the year is Rs 40 crore as compared to Rs 20 crore achieved last year,"
Godrej & Boyce GM (sales & marketing) security division Pushkar Gokhale said.

Physical storage security products still remain the major revenue generator for the company.

The interest and demand has grown in the last one year due to greater security threat perception, VP and head (group security equipment division) D E Byramjee said.

Gokhale said there has been gradual increase in interest for integrated systems as against just standalone surveillance cameras and metal detectors.
