Godrej Properties ties up with GIIS for edu facility

Mumbai-based Godrej Properties Ltd., (GPL) the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group announced that it has tied-up with Global Indian International School (GIIS) for setting up a world class education facility at its township project Godrej Garden City (GGC) in Ahmedabad.

GPL will construct an independent school building comprising of a total built up area of around 100,000 sq. ft. to house in this facility. Apart from the school building, it will also develop playground, landscaping and other facilities including ample parking for school buses.“In keeping with our commitment to provide customers at GGC, we have tied-up with GIIS. We are excited about bringing in an international school of such repute to the city and hope that both, residents of GGC and citizens of Ahmedabad, benefit from this initiative,” said Pirojsha Godrej, executive director, Godrej Properties.

Global Indian International School is part of a network of international schools that provides world class education to over 21,000 students in 21 schools across countries like Singapore, USA, Malaysia, New Zealand, Japan, UAE, Thailand, Vietnam and India. Once the construction is completed, Godrej Garden city proposes to house over 13,000 apartments and villas. Godrej Properties also plans to create facilities for transport, education, health-care, recreation, hospitality, retail and banking within the development. Important civic facilities and public utilities will also be added to make Godrej Garden City fully self-sufficient.
