JSPL net loss at Rs 519 cr
Jindal Steel and Power Ltd reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 519 crore for the quarter ended March due to subdued demand and cheaper imports of the metal. The firm had posted a net profit of Rs 402 crore in the year-ago period.

Bhushan Steel loss widens
Bhushan Steel posted a standalone net loss of Rs 361 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, against a net loss of Rs 20 crore in the year-ago period. Stand-alone net sales fell by four per cent to Rs 2,420 crore in the March quarter from Rs 2,510 crore in the same quarter of 2013-14.
