Gujarat Ambuja Cements (GACL) is planning to invest Rs 2,000 croreduring the next three years to hike capacity.The company plans to add nearly six million tonne in the next three years to take total capacity to 20 million tonne. The present production of GACL was 14 million tonne per annum, GACL officials said today.On acquisitions of existing plants, officials said: "We would definitely like to take the takeover route provided GACL got the right price and a willing seller."On funding of expansion plans, they said the entire financing would be done from free cash flows.As per GACL estimates, domestic demand for cement was likely to jump from 122 million tonne in 2004-05 to 146 million tonne by 2006-07.
