Gujarat Gas, K Sera Sera & McDowell Q3 results

The consolidated income from operations of Gujarat Gas Company on a year to year basis, has decreased from Rs 709 crore to Rs 653 crore, a decrease of 8 per cent.
 
The decrease in sales, according to company officials, was primarily owing to supply constraints, as evinced by the volume of gas sold which has decreased from 773 million metric standard cubic metre (mmscm) to 695 mmscm.
 
The profit after tax during the year increased from Rs 72 crore to Rs 77 crore, an increase of 7 per cent over the previous year.
 
K Sera Sera net up 346%
 
K Sera Sera Productions has posted a whopping 7488 per cent in its net income at Rs 18.98 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 compared with Rs 25 lakh during the corresponding quarter of previous year.
 
Net profit has also jumped by 346 per cent at Rs 30.09 lakh for the current quarter against Rs 6.74 lakh during the same period previous year.
 
The company has incorporated a 100 percent subsidiary ' Twenty Twenty Television' during this quarter and also released two films. For the nine months ended December 31, the company's net profit rose to Rs 2.48 crore (from Rs 74.63 lakh in FY03) on a total income of Rs 33.35 crore (Rs 10.65 crore).
 
McDowell net up 14%
 
McDowell has reported a 14 per cent increase in its net profit for third quarter ended December 31, 2004, to Rs 8.2 crore against Rs 7.2 crore reported for the third quarter of FY04.
 
The net income has reported a 13 per cent jump to Rs 327.81 crore for Q3FY05 against Rs 290.6 crore for Q3FY04.
