Gujarat NRE Coke today reported a net profit of Rs 1.3 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010.
However, the company had a net loss of Rs 103 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income rose to Rs 433.8 crore in the January-March quarter, from Rs 216.3 crore in the same period last year.
The board has proposed a final dividend at Rs 1 per equity share for the year ended March 2010.
For the year ended March 31, 2010, the company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 20.4 crore, down 76.63 per cent over the same period last year.
Shares of Gujarat NRE Coke were trading at Rs 63.30 per cent on the BSE, up 0.32 per cent from previous close.
