B M Munjal, chairman of Hero Honda, today said the five-day strike at the Gurgaon plant will not have an impact on the company's profitability and sales.While the company was still negotiating with contractual workers, production had started at the Gurgaon plant. "We are producing about 6,000 vehicles daily, and will recover the 5-day production loss soon," Munjal said.Although no agreement had been arrived at with the workers yet, a verbal assurance had been given and the company and the workers were working toward a favourable solution. "Regularisation of some contract workers is also likely," Munjal said.
