"Hastens plans to open ten stores nation-wide in next two years," Sanjay Varma, Country Manager (India) Hastens told mediapersons today.
The company, in association with Syamanthaka Lifestyle Products (P) Ltd, would open its the first showroom here, he said.
The 156-year-old company with its manufacturing unit in Koping, Sweden has prime focus on quality. The price range in which Hastens manufactures beds is between Rs 2,50,000 and Rs 35,00,000, he added.
About the company's plans in India, Verma said, "Hastens not only promises a better day after a good night's sleep in a Hastens bed but also offers a replaceable warranty for 25 years".
While craftsmanship and quality are two keywords at Hastens where beds are still made by hand using only natural filling material, the company is exclusive among bed manufacturers by having all of their beds awarded the Swedish Svan environemtnal certification.
