Electrical goods company Havells India has clocked turnover of almost Rs 625 crore in Uttar Pradesh during the current fiscal.
This would be a growth of about 25% compared to Rs 510 crore turnover in 2012-13.
UP contributes 12% to Havells' revenues and the company is expanding its distribution and service network to penetrate deeper into the market to reach smaller towns and villages.
The fan business alone contributes Rs 700 crore to the overall turnover of the company.
"India's fan market is estimated at Rs 7,000 crore, of which the organised market accounts for Rs 5,000 crore," Havells senior vice president Narendra Chaudhary said here.
Of the organised fan market, the regular and premium segments together account for Rs 3,200 crore and growing at 10% annually.

Havells has a market pie of over 25% in the regular and premium fan category.
"UP has been one of the vital markets for us and we will further strengthen our presence with more superior products," company's associate director Rakesh Mehrotra said.
Havells has about 600 dealers and 5,500 retailers in the network, which are being ramped up.
Meanwhile, the company announced a major foray in the premium fan segment by launching 12 new models under the 'Standard' brand.
The new range would be distributed through the current network of 118 'Standard' dealers/distributors in UP. This number would be increased to 250 for maximum reach of the product in this fast growing market.
