Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has reported a 72% rise in net profit at Rs 22.66 crore for the first quarter ended june 30, 2005 as against Rs 13.20 crore in Q1FY05.Net sales for the reporting quarter rose 26% to Rs 479.43 crore from Rs 380 crore in April-June 2004, the company said in a release today.The order book position, as on June 30, 2005, stood at Rs 5,301 crore, the release added.
