Computer hardware company HCL Infosystems has reported a net profit of Rs 41.4 crore for the second quarter ended December 31, 2004 against a loss of Rs 19 lakh posted in the same period last year. |
The company has also reported a 67 per cent growth in revenue to Rs 1042.9 crore (Rs 625.5 crore). Profit before tax rose 72 per cent to Rs 50.5 crore (Rs 29.4 crore). The board of directors of the company has declared a second interim dividend of 50 per cent. |

For the year ended June 30, 2003 the company had declared a final dividend of 100 per cent. The computer systems business of the company grew 56 per cent to Rs 373.9 crore (Rs 240.1 crore). The office automation and telecommunication business revenues grew 91 per cent to Rs 664.4 crore (Rs 347.3 crore). |
