HCL Infosystems, domestic IT major, has posted a decline of 4.12 per cent in its net profit at Rs 304.75 crore for the year ending 30 June, 2008 compared with Rs 317.85 crore posted in the previous year ending 30 June, 2007.
During the year, the net sales of the company, however, increased to Rs 12411.4 crore against Rs 11671.86 crore last year, up 6.55 per cent.
For the quarter ended 30 June, the company's net profit stood at Rs 65.13 crore, a fall of 23.29 per cent, against Rs 84.90 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. The net sale for the June quarter rose to Rs 3114.77 crore against Rs 3061.45 crore, last year.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company's shares were trading at Rs 118, up 1.11 per cent at IST 1453.
