HCL Technologies has signed an agreement to form a joint venture (JV) with Canadian firm Celestica Inc, to provide concept-to-manufacturing(C2M) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).According to the release issued by HCL to the BSE, Celestica is a leading company in the electronics manufacturing services segment.Through the venture, the companies will offer integrated design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions. This is the first joint venture of this kind in the electronics industry.The JV will provide a fully integrated product lifecycle solutions, including product concept, design, engineering,manufacturing, fulfillment, sustaining engineering, reverse logistics and after-market services."The JV will remove a level of complexity, allowing OEM customers to focus on their core business and strategic initiatives," said Vineet Nayar, president, of HCL said.
