HDFC Mutual Funds has increased its holding in Hyderabad-based KNR Constructions Limited, an infrastructure development company, to 7.61 per cent from the 5.38 per cent. The number ofshares has increased to 21,40,077 equity shares, from the previous 15,12,394 equity shares as on February 28, 2008, the company said in a press release on Friday.
