HeidelbergCement India, formerly known as Mysore Cement, has received an in-principle approval from its Board of Directors to increase the cement production at Raigad unit of the company in Maharashtra by 0.625 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). This however, would be subject to receipt of requisite approvals for the said expansion project.
The company’s present installed capacity is 3.07 mtpa.
The company's scrip was trading at Rs 50.75 down, 0.20 per cent on the Bombay stock exchange.
