Paper Products, India's leading flexible packaging company, reported a marginal decline of Rs 11 lakh in net profit at Rs 7.74 crore in the first quarter ended March 31 of the current calendar year against Rs 7.85 crore for the same period last year. The company achieved a 12.2 per cent growth in net sales at Rs 130.25 crore during the quarter compared with Rs 116.07 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. |
WS Industries net profit up116.5% |
Chennai-based WS Industries (WSI) has posted a net profit growth of 116.5 per cent at Rs 2.23 crore in the fourth quarter of 2006-07, against Rs 1.03 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year. Net sales stood at Rs 44.80 crore compared with Rs 38.64 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, representing a growth of 15.94 per cent. |
