Hello Curry, a Hyderabad-based fast food chain start-up, has entered into a partnership with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to supply meal options to railway passengers.
"A majority of passengers do not have the time or the means to carry food for their journey duration. They are dependent on the options provided by local providers who vend fried snacks and/or confectionery that replace their lunch/dinner while on the train. With Hello Curry selling biryanis and parathas with our array of curry pots in our packaging, passengers now have access to complete Indian meals on the train," Raju Bhupati, founder and chief executive of Hello Curry, said in a release.
Hello Curry’s menu will be available for all the passengers boarding different trains at the Secunderabad station. Plans are afoot to offer the Hello Curry menu for passengers from Delhi, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam and Pune very soon, he added.
