FMCG firm Henkel India today posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 25.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The company had a net loss of Rs 11.34 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2010, Henkel India said in a filing.
During the quarter under review, the firm's net sales declined by 25.4% to Rs 123.11 crore from Rs 164.94 crore.
On a standalone basis, the firm had a net profit of Rs 36.91 crore, while it had Rs 87 lakh in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Henkel India's standalone net sales stood at Rs 104.67 crore during the quarter, a 21.25% decline from Rs 132.93 crore in the year-ago period.
Mumbai-based Jyothy Laboratories had recently acquired a controlling stake in Henkel India.
