Hero Honda Motors has posted a 12% decline in net profit to Rs 857.89 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 971.34 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total turnover for FY07 increased to Rs 10,089.81 crore from Rs 8,870.26 crore in FY06.For the quarter ended March 31, 2007, the company posted a net profit of Rs 195 crore when compared with Rs 267.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total turnover for Q4FY07 increased to Rs 2,684.09 crore from Rs 2,298.91 crore for Q4FY06, the release said.The board has recommended a dividend @ 850% i.e. Rs 17 per share for FY07.
