Hero Honda reports marginal increase

Hero Honda Motors on Sunday reported a marginal increase in October sales at 354,156 units against 352,449 units in the same month last year. “We are happy to have clocked this healthy sales number in October given the large base of the previous year. It comes on back of a record retail sales achievement during the just-concluded festival season,” said Sr Vice-President (Marketing & Sales).

Skoda sales up 98%

SkodaAuto India on Sunday reported 98 per cent jump in its October sales at 1,753 units against 887 in the same month last year, the company said in a release.

GM India sales up 15%

General Motors India on Sunday reported 15 per cent increase in sales during October at 7,413 units, against 6,465 units in the same month last year. The company said the increase in sales was driven by its Chevrolet brand and there were pending orders which could not be delivered owing to supply constraints of some of the parts. “We are pleased to see such robust growth for all our car lines and we believe these world class products will further propel the Chevrolet brand in the market,” GM India Vice- President P Balendran said.
