"The domestic two-wheeler industry remains buoyant and we expect growth to maintain this trajectory in the coming months... For us at Hero Honda, the record four lakh-plus sales for the fourth consecutive month, has set the tone for the festival season," Hero Honda Motors Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said.
The company has lined up a number of new launches to meet its customers' expectations in the coming festive season, he added.
The growth has been coming from across segments, including scooter where Pleasure has contributed over 27,000 units in August, the statement said.
