Hikal has bagged a Rs 200 crore contract from Alpharma, a US-based specialty pharmaceutical company.According to a release issued by Hikal to the BSE today, the contract is a long-term agreement for the manufacture and supply of an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for the veterinary sector.Hikal will be manufacturing the API at its USFDA approved plant at Jigani, Bangalore, the release added.
