Hindustan Zinc has reported a 17% increase in net profit at Rs 145 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 124 crore posted in Q1FY05. According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 547 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 from Rs 463 crore in Q1FY05.
