Hitachi Home and Life Solutions (India), a subsidiary of Japan's Hitachi Appliance, today launched its new range of air-conditioner (AC) 'KAZE' designed especially for the Indian market.
KAZE's launch marks Hitachi's foray into tier 2 and 3 cities through its competitive pricing, the company said in a statement.
The KAZE range, comprising four variants, is differentiated on account of the "Kaimin" technology in addition to "other comfort features", it added.
"Based on the introduction of KAZE and an aggressive pricing strategy, we expect to notch up 50,000 units of KAZE in our AC volumes this year," Hitachi Home and Life Solutions' director Vinay Chouhan said.
