Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 46.66% growth in its total sales for January at 1,89,353 units.
The company's total sales stood at 1,29,110 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, HMSI said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales jumped 31.67% to 76,850 units in January this year as against 58,365 units in January 2011, it added.
The company reported an increase of 59.03% in its scooter sales to 1,12,503 units from 70,745 units in January 2011.
