HMT Machines Tools has signed an MoU with Germany-based Mauser Werke Oberndorf Maschinenbau, for manufacturing of high technology, high speed machining centres in India. Acording to an official release, the MoU gives HMT exclusive rights to manufacture and supply high speed machining centres in India and abroad. The understanding covers design & technology transfer, technical assistance and training of HMT engineers for identified range of Mauser/Steinel machining centres. HMT will manufature the machining centres at its ungraded machine tool facilities in India. The products would be used by aerospace, aviation and auto component manufacturing sectors, the release said.
