Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan-based Honda Motor Co, today said it targets sales of 15 lakh units in the next fiscal, a growth rate of 20 per cent over 2009-10.
"Keeping the momentum of 10.7 lakh unit sales in 2008-09, HMSI is progressing well to surpass 12.5 lakh sales in the current financial year and is targetting a sales of 15 lakh units in next fiscal with a growth of 20 per cent over the current fiscal," HMSI President and CEO Shinji Aoyama told reporters at the 10th Auto Expo here.
HMSI also announced the launch of six new models at the Expo.
Besides, Honda also unveiled its latest global fun bike 'VFR 1200S' and showcased its concept sports bike and experimental personal mobility device U3X.
