Honda Motorcycle & Scooter sales up 39% in August

The company sold 3,08,932 units, as compared to 2,22,613 units in the corresponding month last year

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today reported 38.77% growth in sales at 3,08,932 units for August 2013.

 

The company's total sales stood at 2,22,613 units in the corresponding month last year.

 

Motorcycle sales registered a rise of 50.23% to 1,56,629 units in August 2013, from 1,04,253 units in August 2012, HMSI said in a statement.

 

The company also reported an increase of 28.67% in its scooter sales at 1,52,303 units from 1,18,360 units in August 2012, it said.
