US-based multinational conglomerate, Honeywell, on Tuesday launched a state-of-the-art electro Magnetic Interference and Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMI-EMC) Lab at Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) centre in Hyderabad.
This is the second-of-its-kind facility by Honeywell in India with a similar one operational in Bangalore, according to the company.
HTS is the integrated technology development and engineering arm of Honeywell and has its operations in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Madurai and Gurgaon.The EMI-EMC lab enables design, development and regulatory compliance of electronic products in commercial buildings homes and industrial processing plants, the company said.
Honeywell has a work force of about 15,000 people across its manufacturing and technology development centres in India and over $1 billion in sales and exports. It has seven manufacturing locations and five technology development centres in the country.
Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao has formally inaugurated the new facility.
