Hot-Rolled Steel Prices Hiked By Rs 500/Tonne

The leading steel companies, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Essar Steel Ltd and Tata Steel, have further hiked prices of hot-rolled products by about Rs 500 per tonne from October 1.

Analysts say this is likely to be the last round of price hike during this year. The steel prices have seen a steady increase during the first five months of this financial year.
