House of Pearl plans Rs 500 cr expansion

UK-based House of Pearl Fashions (HPF) Ltd an umbrella organisation of Pearl Global Ltd plans Rs 500 crore expansion in the country. The company is scouting for partners to set up 300-500 retail shops.

The company is ready to set up a 4 million pieces (mnp) woven facility at Chennai Apparel Park for which 7 acres have been acquired.

Also, land has been allocated for design centre in Gurgaon. The company has identified land for two mnp woven and knits manufacturing units in Dhaka.

At present, the company has operations in 12 countries across the globe. The group is pioneered by Deepak Seth.

Recently, the group integrated its overseas supply chain business with its Indian arm under House of Pearl Fashions Ltd and has major expansion plans in the apparel sector by 2007-end.
