Incepted in Mumbai by Sinhal and Vickash Chowdhury, BookMyBai.com has started its operations in May 2015. Currently, it has 10,000 verified househelp in four categories - maids, baby sitter/nanny, cooks and caretakers - across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Surat for permanent part-time maids and pan-India for permanent full-time maids.
The househelp aggregator offers employers pre-recorded interview videos of the househelp, besides offering PF, ESIC and medical insurance to the domestic help that are on its payroll.
"We are in conversation with a couple of venture capital firms to raise funds in a Series-A round in the next couple of months," Sinhal said, adding that BookMyBai.com was expecting to close the current financial year with revenues of Rs 2 crore and increase this to Rs 25 crore by the end of FY17.
