MeritTrac Services, the Bangalore-based competence assessment and pre-recruitment processing company has announced that it has set up a dedicated assessment centre for HP-GDIC (Global Delivery India Centre) in Bangalore. |
Dedicated to HP and managed by MeritTrac, the centre is the first of its kind in the country and will administer a suite of assessments in spoken English including listening comprehension, verbal ability, and logical reasoning skills. |
According to Pramod Fernandes, head HR, HP-GDIC, "We realised there is great value in centralising our volume recruitment within city limits making it easily accessible to applicants of HP-GDIC. The centralised assessment also helps us standardise testing processes and allows us to evaluate an applicant for multiple job openings. " |
The centre is also expected to reduce the turnaround time from applicant entry to offer to around four hours. |
"We believe this is the next level of evolution in talent acquisition efficiency wherein there is significant reduction in terms of advertising, screening, sourcing, cycle time for recruitment and also of the administrative load on the recruitment department related to conducting and evaluating the tests and the initial round of interviews," Madan Padaki, co-founder and director-business development, MeritTrac Services, added. |
