Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) today reported a net loss of Rs 607.67 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 when compared with a net loss of Rs 507.89 crore in Q1FY06.According to a release issued by HPCL to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 20,776.19 crore from Rs 15,143.71 crore in Q1FY06.
