HSBC Global Investment Funds (Mauritius) along with HSBC Halbis Partners (Hong Kong) sold 12,00,000 shares of Tata Steel on June 16, 2006 via market sale.This was announced in a release issued by Tata Steel to the NSE today."The shareholding of HSBC Global Investments Funds (a/c) HSBC Global Investment Funds (Mauritius) along with HSBC Halbis Partners (Hong Kong) after the said sale is 1,67,28,890 shares aggregating to 3.02% of the total share capital of Tata Steel," the release added.
