The facility will have a capacity of 4,500 employees and require a further investment of around Rs 50 crore for completion, according to Madhava Reddy, its president and CEO. It currently has around 6,500 employees across the world and add 10,000 more. Of these, almost 7,000 would be in India, he added.
The company is also seriously considering strategic acquisitions for faster growth he said, while refusing to reveal the target size or any such details. Howeveer, he said that it would be looking at a small company in India and a larger company in overseas, for acquisition.
HTC Global Services, with its headquarters in US and Indian operations spearheaded from Chennai, is a global provider of IT Solutions and Business Process Outsourcing services, with a client base spanning several Global 2000 organizations, according to the company website. The facility is designed to provide outsourced services for the company's clients.
