The board of directors of Hindustan Unilever (HUL) today cleared a final dividend of 300% i.e Rs 3 per share of Re 1 each.According to a release issued by HUL to the BSE today, the company has earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share in August, and a special platinum jubilee dividend of Rs 3 per share in November."The total dividend for the year ended December 31, 2007, including the proposed final dividend, amounts to Rs 9 per share of Re 1 each. The final dividend, subject to approval of shareholders, will be paid to the shareholders on or after April 8, 2008," the release added.
