FMCG company Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has introduced a new water purifier called Pureit Autofill priced at Rs 3,200 that shuts the inflow of water once the container of the said gadget is full.
Its 'hydro sensors' detect the level of water inside the purifier and fill water automatically, thus, making it free from manual intervention and avoid wastage of water, HUL said in a statement here.
Besides, it provides a storage capacity of 18 litres.
It also meets the stringent germ-kill criteria of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a regulatory agency in the USA and will be available in all retail outlets.
Earlier, HUL used to sell Pureit, its debut product in the water purifier category through the DTH channel.
