The Hyatt Regency, which will be formally inaugurated in Kolkata in a few days time, is likely to trigger a tariff war in the city.

Sushil Gupta, managing director of Asian Hotels Ltd, today announced that the hotel has fixed the introductory room tariff for a guestroom in the base category (with single and double occupancy) at Rs 2,500, while the exclusive Regency club room or Hyatt
