Gramadootha Technical Services Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based startup, on Thursday launched Dialajob.net – an employment vacancy information service using both Internet and telephone.
“Unlike other services that use email alerts to notify any matches, Dialajob provides jobseekers with real-time notification of matches over phone (SMS and voice). We have spent about Rs 1 crore on developing this product,” R Rammohan, founder and director of Gramadootha, told mediapersons.
With a Rs 250 registration fee per jobseeker a year, the portal currently has 1,5000 users including 300-odd paid users. The company expects 10,000 paid users in Andhra Pradesh alone and revenues of Rs 2.5 crore by December 2009.
“We have tied up with APOnline and eSeva for fee collection. Under the revenue-sharing partnership, APOnline and eSeva get a commission of about 20 per cent of the fee collected,” Rammohan said, adding the company has also entered into a similar agreement with CMS, a Bangalore-based citizen services company that has 10,000 centres across the country.
“We will be launching this service through CMS in Karnataka and Maharashtra shortly,” he said.
