The second largest passenger vehicle manufacturer in the country, Hyundai Motor India (HMIL), has introduced the dual fuel LPG Santro branded Santro eco. Earlier this year, HMIL introduced the CNG Santro in Delhi and Mumbai.
The dual fuel Santro eco, that runs both on petrol and LPG, comes with a factory fitted LPG kit and is approved by the Department of Explosives (DOE) and certified by Automotive research Association of India (ARAI) - the country’s premier automobile testing and certifying authority.
The LPG Santro eco will cost an extra Rs 21,500 over the petrol model. Hyundai's LPG Santro is available in two models priced between Rs 3,54,000 - Rs 3,73,000. The models carry a two year manufacturer's warranty.
