Software firm i-flex Solutions today named its chief operating officer N R K Raman as the company's new managing director and CEO, besides making a number of changes in its board and executive management team.Rajesh Hukku, the current chairman and managing director of i-flex, in which US-based enterprise software giant Oracle holds over 81% stake, will continue on the board as the non-executive Chairman, the company said in a statement.Meanwhile, Oracle has announced the formation of a New York-based Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) that would consolidate Oracle's financial services applications, domain experts and related services into a single business, the company said.As part of the company's leadership team expansion for supporting accelerated growth, acquisitions and for better leverage of Oracle's global organisation for the banking industry, Hukku will also head the new Oracle FSGBU division.The company also named R Ravisankar and Deepak Ghaisas as vice-chairmen, who will also join the management team of the new Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit.The i-flex board in a meeting approved the changes to the company's executive management and board of directors, which would be effective immediately."These changes will enable us to better leverage the synergies of i-flex's comprehensive portfolio of products and services with the overall Oracle strategy for leadership in financial services," Hukku said in a company release.
