Haneda Airport, Tokyo’s new international airport, has switched over to iCargo, the Thiruvanantha-puram-based IBS’ cargo management solution to manage its groundhandling operations. IBS Software implemented its new iCargo JTO (Japan Terminal Operations) which has been adapted to meet the business and customs requirements of Japan.
iCargo is an integrated solution designed to handle the cargo management requirements of full freighter carriers, passenger and cargo combination carriers, ground-handling agents and airports in a whole range of areas, according to an IBS release.
The airport said that IBS was the only service provider outside Japan that has full NACCS (Japanese customs) capability and knowhow.
