IDG has conducted a taster programme in Pune for aspiring senior leaders from various companies such as SKF, TCS, Credit Suisse Group, TMTC, L&T Infotech, and Deutsche Bank India. For this reason, in the last 12 months it has run programmers in India, USA, UAE, Singapore, Lithuania, South Africa, Hong Kong and Europe.
Speaking to Business Standard, Stephen Bennett, Chief Executive Officer, IDG said, " We work with blue chip organisations in more than 20 countries helping to resolve complex development issues which have a significant impact on bottom line performance. We have started an office in India, partly to service the global requirements of some UK clients such as Barclays, HSBC and GlaxoSmithKline but also, importantly, to introduce our leadership philosophy to new clients. We believe that the Indian market is ready for the rich experience on leadership development that IDG brings to the table which, along with a blend of highly skilled trainers from the UK and India will make it a really interesting proposition for our clients."

He added, " We will develop relationships with large Indian based companies who would like to explore some of the leadership concepts that we believe in. DG creates sustainable and measurable change in individual and organisational behaviour that positively impact the bottom lines.
Speaking at the launch, Riya Arora, Director of Operations for India said, "We have started to meet with senior leaders in large organisations and the response has been encouraging. We are currently running a taster programme for 'Aspiring Senior Leaders' in Pune and will be replicating it in Mumbai later in the year.
She added, "On an average, IDG deputes one consultant for 6-8 participants from a large company. Our programmes are always practical and set in the context of commercial reality. For this reason, we have developed a range of measurement tools to ensure that any programme we conduct has a positive return on investment. In support, we are able to offer our own survey platform and client portal."
IDG has partnering agreement with the Royal Military Academy Sand Hurst (RMAS). This partnership allows it to blend leadership lessons from the military and the commercial world into our tailored development programmers.
