IEHPL eyes 90 restaurants by end of 2013

Mumbai-based Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality Private Limited (IEHPL) that owns brands like Mocha and Smoke House Deli, has plans to have 90 restaurants by the end of 2013.

Founded in 2001, IEHPL has an umbrella of brands including fine-dine restaurants like Smoke House Grill (New Delhi), Stone Water Grill and Le Kebabiere (Pune) and all-day café formats — Salt Water Café, Bespoke Café and The Tasting Room (Mumbai) and Smoke House Deli and Smoke House Bar Café (New Delhi), apart from an evolution of Mocha with Mocha Mojo (Mumbai and Chennai) and Mocha ArtHouse (Delhi).

Riyaaz Amlani, CEO and MD EHPL said, “From 40 restaurants at present in nine different cities, the plan is to add 50 more with topline targeted at Rs 220 crore by the end of 2013”.

EIHPL recently had investments coming to the tune of Rs 48 crores from Mirah Hospitality(8 crores) and Beacon India Private equity, that would be utilised to fund the expansion plans.

EIHPL opened Smoke House Deli – all day café format . from IEHPL at Chandigarh.

Riyaaz Amlani maintained while scaling up the stores , much focus would not be on expanding deeper in class B Cities as the company believes still the bigger cities have ‘not saturated’ and there is potential of further expanding their operations.
