State-owned India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) on Sunday opened its regional office in Hyderabad, which will cater to the whole southern region covering Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, along with the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Lakshadweep and Puducherry.
“This will function as a business development centre and would help inflow of funds to viable infrastructure projects in the region. It would also help IIFCL increase its visibility through promotional endeavours in the southern region,” chairman and managing director SK Goel told mediapersons.
IIFCL would soon open two more regional offices – in Mumbai for the western region and in Kolkata for the eastern region.
