IMRS Hospitality Private Limited, part of the IMRS Group of companies in a tie up with Spencers is planning to come up with 14 more food chain outlets under the name, Orientum across the country, by 2011.
On the launch of its new outlet in Kolkata, Managing Director of IMRS, Sujay Misra said, "Spencers is following a rapid expansion plan and we have tied up with Spencers to come up with 14 more restaurants of the large size format, under the brand name Orientum, across the country by 2011.We are already present in the South City mall."
IMRS is present in small and mid sized formats in Bangalore and Kolkata.
In Kolkata it unveiled its first large sized format food outlet which is spread across 6400 sq feet area with an investment of Rs 4 crore.The outlet will specilalise in Schezwan food and most of it is priced between Rs400 to Rs500.
The outlet also has a separate hall which will cater to providing spaces for executive meets or for any parties aiming at providing five star experience to the customers at reasonable prices, added Misra.
IMRS with diversified interests in market and research, consultancy, finance and media is also planning to introduce the LED screen,manufactured by Chinese company Tulip, for which it has the sole marketing rights by early 2009.
Such a screen costing Rs 11 crore requiring a maintenace cost of Rs 2 crore is will be started with Delhi, and put up across mall facades.

IMRS Group had a total turnover of Rs 200 crore.
IMRS is eyeing a turnover of Rs 240 crore this financial year, up from Rs 200 crore right now, with the hospitality business contributing Rs 30 crore.
