Business leads generated during the show were about $11.2 million, including 3,479 serious business inquiries booked by participants, they said.
Participation of 102 Indian handicraft exporters at the India Pavilion was aimed to project Indian handicrafts in the world market.

The objective was to enhance the share of exports of Indian handicrafts in the world market. Besides India, seven countries--Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, China, The Philippines and Malaysia had also set up their country pavilions in the show.
Handicrafts exports from India registered an increase of 11.27% in dollar terms during the first six months of the year 2013-14 over the corresponding period in the previous year.
